I originally bought a costume for my daughter from Wal-mart, but it fell apart within 2 hours of putting it on, so I returned it. I then went to Joann's and bought fabric to make a Tinker Bell costume for my daughter. I didn't want to wait until the last minute to make it, especially since we need it Thursday to go trick-or-treating at daddy's office. So, I spent time this weekend make it and finally got some modeling shots today. I didn't use any pattern, just winged it and I'm quite pleased!! The only part of the costume that isn't handmade are the wings and I'm going to have to make some adjustments to those since they are too big and won't stay up on her shoulders.
I'm a SAHM to two active children and have been married for over 10 wonderful years. I love to sew, embroidery, bake, read and spend time with my family and friends. I'm also enjoying setting up some gardens around our new home.
